CLARA IVELISSE MORLA
Meet the strongest woman I have ever known, Ivelisse. My mom and my reason for it all. My mother and I shared the same middle name and it has always given me so much pride. In January of 2019, I passed down the same name to my business and I strive to give it so much more meaning than it already has.

My mother was FIERCE, funny, and she had an eye for creative + unique things. She loved when I would make her crafts or write her little notes in my “fancy handwriting.” She didn’t mind that I disorganized her photo albums when I’d collect pictures to make her random scrapbook pages. She didn’t mind me painting my walls bright and crazy colors. She didn’t care that my room walls were covered with my artwork. She encouraged me to do things that made me feel joy. She will forever be my number one fan, and I hers.

Although she’s no longer on this planet, I owe this business and everything I am today to her. I grew up surrounded by badass women doing unimaginable things, which is why this business also aims to support + inspire female dreams.

Hello, I’m Steph, Stephanie Ivelisse, to be exact. I am a calligrapher and artist locally based in Austin, TX but serving nationwide. I started calligraphy as a hobby and slowly became captivated by it. After 3 weeks of practicing every day, I decided to open a business. I created Ivelisse Designs as a way to allow myself to live more creatively. For many who know me, this art business came of no surprise.

Ever since I was a child, I have been surrounded and fascinated by art. I’m known as that “crafty” friend that is usually asked to take on the next DIY project. The enneagram 4 in me values non-conformity and my art is a reflection of me. I enjoy taking on new challenges and trying out unique projects. My main goal is to create meaningful pieces for every couple, home, and individual who values authenticity.

On any given day, you’ll probably find me tending to my plant babies, loving on my fur pup, or creating for fun all while sippin’ on some good coffee + listening to a personal growth podcast. My interests are forever growing along with my curiosity and my art.
